From the outside the Wolcott Hotel looks like any old, slightly seedy hotel u might spot whilst driving through Finsbury park, but 10 times taller. However when i stepped in to the entrance of this place i was overwhelmed by its intricate and fascinating interiors. I found myself paying no attention to the fact id taken someone Else's bag off the coach, but instead being transfixed by this great hoard of mirrors, antique seating and swirling staircases that surrounded me. You could tell that this hotel used to be something special when it first opened in 1904. I'm sure this hotel could definitely go back to its former glorious self with a little scrub of the mirrors a new carpet and a successfully renovatated ball room. This hotel is defiantly so uncool that its quite kitsch. Here are some snaps from our room and some of my fave bits of the hotel.
